Job description
Doordeals are an internet based Timber door retailer.
Based in Sheepbridge. The job involves Picking orders for deliveries, Checking off goods inwards, Loading vehicles for daily deliveries on sprinter type vehicles, Occasional Local deliveries.
The job is based on 40 hours and will involve working between the hours of 8am – 6pm Mon –Friday with flexibility on start times.
The role will include:
- Picking and allocating stock
- Packaging goods up for dispatch
- Checking quality of goods
- Glazing timber doors (training provided)
- Loading and unloading vehicles both manually & with FLT (training provided if required)
- Checking products off against delivery notes (checking door sizes with tape measure, measuring glass apertures etc...)
- Inputting data onto a computer system.
- Lifting and moving bulky stock items
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
Requirements:
· Strong on attention to detail.
· Drivers licence desirable but not essential as some Local deliveries may be required in company vehicles.
· Being able to keep a focus on the job to hand.
· Energetic, enthusiastic, hard working, with a can-do attitude.
· Work to time constraints, work under pressure and well organized.
· Able to understand and read metric and imperial measurements.
· Physically fit to move and carry heavy goods within a team.
· General DIY knowledge would be an advantage.
