Christmas is coming to Fenwick, and we have exciting opportunities for Warehouse Operators to join the team in our Killingworth Distribution Centre and support us through our peak trading period and beyond.

We are on an exciting journey of transformation at Killingworth, and there will be the opportunity for this role to become permanent within 6 months. There will also be the opportunity to transfer across to our Newcastle flagship store (for those who wish to) to support the store during Christmas trade giving a great opportunity to experience different parts of our business.

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator you will be key in supporting the smooth running of our warehouse operation across receiving, pricing and other warehousing routines.

You will work across all areas of our distribution centre with varied tasks and no two days will be the same. Our Warehouse Operators process orders, receipt orders, make sure our stores receive our fabulous products on time whilst ensuring it is priced, packaged, and maintained to the highest of standards.

What we are looking for in a candidate…

  • An interest in / passion for working in a logistics environment and the desire to learn and be part of a dynamic and driven team - Essential.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse/logistics environment – Desirable.
  • Previous experience with working with warehouse management systems – Desirable.
  • A flexible and energetic approach to work
  • Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting (although this is kept to a minimum)

We have contracts available starting from August and ideally, you will start with us as soon as possible. All contracts will require you to be flexible and work to a rota that includes evening and weekend shifts on rotations from Monday to Sunday though we are happy to discuss any individual needs you may have and where possible, we seek to accommodate.

Shift patterns are 6.00am – 2.00pm and 2.00pm – 10.00pm

Weekend shifts are available working Saturday and Sunday 8.00am - 4.00pm
