Warehouse Operative
Shift: 6am - 3pm, 40hrs/pw
Salary: £24,344.08pa + Employee benefits
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for assisting with the unloading and loading of new stock delivered, checking deliveries received against delivery notes and relocation of stock to correct bay in warehouse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be required to put delivered goods away in accordance with company procedure using WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Responsible for checking and signing delivery notes, and book in on WMS updating / correcting any stock received which is different from items on delivery note
- Ensure new stock has been put away safely and notify Supervisor of any shortages.
- Responsible for putting adhoc or miscellaneous goods away, this may involve repackaging, relabeling of the good or goods ‘stock code’ where necessary and print labels
- Picking and loading of goods outwards for couriers using pick procedures on WMS
- Responsible for replenishment of stock throughout the shift, and all stock checks/PI counts
- Checking all goods returned by drivers ensuring that they match with drivers paperwork, scanning goods back into stock including all Totes used for route and report any discrepancies/missing totes
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Preferred but not essential an up to date certificate / forklift license from a training provider
- Preferably previous warehouse experience, but not essential.
- Able to understanding and adhere to H&S rules and regulations, and company procedures in line with ISO 9002
- Good communication skills
- Basic PC Skills
