Job type: Night Shifts
Shift pattern: Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights 6pm-6am (and every 4th Sunday)
Job summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Supply Chain department in the Raw Material Warehouse team in Plymouth. The role involves supporting production and the Raw Material Warehouse, reporting to warehouse Supervisor but ultimately the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities –
- Load/Unload Vehicles as required
- Scan stock into location
- Pick stock for production
- Action ADS Errors
- Book Potatoes/Oil deliveries onto access
- Understand and follow the production plan
- Flexibility to cover other shifts
- Carry out the correct adjustments for stock returning from production
- Demonstrate a High Quality attention to detail
- Able to suggest and implement improvements within the warehouse.
Requirements:
Essential:
- English and maths GCSE’s essential – Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
- Counterbalance & Reach Truck Certification is Essential
- Communication Skills – Confident communicator – both verbally and in writing
- Team Working Skills – Good team-worker who gets on well with others
- Organisation Skills – Organise and prioritise work appropriately
- Customer Service Skills – ensuring customer satisfaction
- Numeracy skills
Desirable:
- Driving is desirable
- Previous experience working in an Warehouse or Food Manufacturing Environment would be desirable.
- Warehouse Knowledge is desirable
