Warehouse Operatives - Derby
Covering all locations throughout central Derby, and surrounding areas
Pay rate: from £10.42 - £11.39 per hour
Hours: Mixture of shifts ranging from day Monday to Friday, 4 on 4 off, rotating shifts - client dependent.
Contract: Temporary ongoing once successful - majority of roles can lead to permanent positions

We are currently looking for reliable, hard-working warehouse operatives for a variety of reputable clients in Derby, to support warehouses within the surrounding areas with any sickness, holidays, and general support in getting their orders out to their customers.
Hours:
We can offer you a variety of full-time shifts, see below a break down:
4 days on work 4 days off work shift: 7:00am-6:00pm
Am & Pm rotating shifts from 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm
Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
The ideal candidates:
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Flexible in working patterns and locations, we cover a lot of areas so flexibility will be key in regard to work we can offer
- Can work full time
- Have an up-to-date CV with relevant experience, skills and qualifications for us to present your profile to our clients.
- Are enthusiastic and prepared to give 100% commitment all of the time.
- Fantastic work history - you will be asked to provide work references and some clients may request to see this.
- Happy to work or have worked within environments at a fast pace.
- Have the desire to learn and progress.
- Have had previous warehouse (or similar) experience or are able to work towards targets.
- Safety shoes and high vis preferred.
Your role:
- Moving of stock and boxes throughout the warehouse - some can be heavy up to 25KG please consider this
- Accurately picking products ready to be packed into boxes. Using electronic scanners and some pen and paper formats.
- Building boxes, labeling and re labelling products
- Possibly using electronic handheld scanners.
- Pallet wrapping and getting orders ready for distribution.
- Carefully packing products into boxes ensuring not to break any delicate items.
- Quality checking to ensure boxes are presented nicely for customers and clients.
- Ensuring any damages or concerns are reported to the relevant person.
