Here at GXO, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Toolstation, Upton Valley, Northampton.

This is a permanent, Full Time position and you will be working on ‘any 5 from 7’ Rotating shift pattern, covering both 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Load and unload vehicles with products for delivery accurately and safely in line with company health & safety policies
  • Check and confirm loads for accuracy, and report any discrepancies
  • Off-load any products, check they are correct and undamaged and load them into the appropriate areas for storage
  • Utilise the warehouse management system on a daily basis in line with pick and pack requirements

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Wear all PPE supplied by the company as suitable for the task, in the correct manner and as it was designed to be worn
  • Provide flexibility in approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

  • United Kingdom (preferred)

  • Day shift (required)
