Warehouse Operative - Picking Lutterworth, England
Job description
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our Lutterworth site, based at Magna Park.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
You will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched to meet Company standards, customer requirements and deadlines. This will include carrying out all given tasks accurately and efficiently to meet company standards within pick/pack/despatch/Goods In and Replenishment area’s.
Other duties will include ensuring all stock is stored securely, along with carrying general warehouse duties an making sure all work area’s are clean, safe and tidy.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- An understanding of basic Health and Safety within the warehouse environment will be an advantage
- Forklift Truck License (VNA) is desirable, however, full training can be given
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills- written and verbal
- Physically fit; all tasks require a degree of walking, standing, lifting or stretching. Some heavy lifting may be involved
- Basic numeracy and literacy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible attitude to working hours and willing to do overtime when necessary
- Proactive/self-starter/ self-motivated
- High levels of common sense
- High levels of integrity and honesty
- Positive approach to change and good sense of humour
- Flexible and enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude
