Warehouse Operative/Picker – Lates
TRC Group is recruiting for multiple warehouse operatives in the Goldthorpe, S63 area. This is on behalf of one of our market-leading clients within the supermarket industry, that are rapidly expanding year on year! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a good, reliable work ethic, that is wanting to grow their skill set and get settled into a new company!
Weekly walk arounds and immediate start dates!
Pay Rate: £11.48 Per Hour standard, £13.78 between the hours of 10pm-4am + on-site parking + Free fruit and veg on site
Job Type: Temp to perm
Full Time Hours: Monthly rota working any 5 out of 7 – 18:00 – finish (shifts can be from 7-9 hours long)
Part Time hours: 18:00-finish – Available Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sun (must work a minimum of 2 nights a week)
The Role:
- This will involve working in either a chiller, between 2 and 5 degrees so must be comfortable in chilled temperatures or working in an ambient or produce department.
- Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
- Achieving picking KPIs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
- Very physically demanding.
- Voice picking using a headset.
- Driving/operating a LLOP (low level order picker) – full training will be provided
The Candidate:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Living locally or having own means of transport is preferable.
- Self-starter attitude
- Reliability
- Able to work on own initiative
