Avaliable Job Today Warehouse Operative - Picking & Packing
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within our Automotive Picking team at EBC Brakes World Headquarters in Pineham, Northampton, NN4 9EF.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To pick and pack automotive brake discs and pad orders in boxes and export pallet coffins for shipping to customers in the UK and Worldwide.
• Undertake daily stock enquiries both phone and/or email.
• Perform stock location enquiries on SAGE 200.
• Use the transport provider’s shipping system.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Good attention to detail – lots of work with part numbers (e.g. 6336, 6366, 6633, that are similar so must be able to accurately pick the correct part number from a printed sheet or verbal request).
• Experience in manual handling preferred but training will be given
• Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting, carrying of weights up to 25 kilos.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:30 (30 min lunch) and Friday 08:30-13:00. Total 40.5 hours per week. Some overtime may be available but this is not compulsory, nor is it guaranteed.

Pay: £10.07 per hour (monthly pay on 26th month). NEW RATE from 1st April £10.73

Probation period: 3 full calendar months.
