It is expected that you will:

· Assist in actively developing and improving the job through better practice and the use of technology

· Work in a flexible manner when required to deputise for others and to reasonable requests which may extend beyond the normal duties and responsibilities of your job

· Be diligent with regards to timekeeping, attendance and general commitment to the basic objectives of the Company

· Observe the principles of GMP, Working Procedures, General Rules and Company Procedures within the Quality and Health & Safety systems

Purpose of this role:

To efficiently pick and pack a high number of outbound deliveries daily, working within a team environment.

Key skills & Experience:

· Excellent communication skills

· Numerical and focused on accuracy

· Pays attention to detail

· Good communication skills

· Basic IT skills in Microsoft packages

· Knowledge of 3rd party transport despatch systems

· Knowledge of a in house computer stock system

Main duties & responsibilities

· To pick and pack orders allocated by despatch coordinator

· To Piggyback items for despatch

· To book in deliveries accurately

· High level of care and accuracy within pick operations

· Ability to work under pressure and to deadlies

· Load 3rd party distribution vehicles in a safe and presentable manner

· To ensure FLT’s are checked daily

· Assist with inventory counting when necessary

· Maintain high standards of house keeping including surrounding yard

· Maintain high levels of health & safety awareness

· Ability to follow instructions

· Support warehouse manager with all day to day tasks

· To action any other elements to fore fill the operational needs of the business

Hours of work are 10:00am - 06:00pm Monday - Friday alternating weeks 06:00am - 02:00pm Monday - Friday. Please ensure you can work all of these hours before applying to the role, as we cannot make any exceptions.

It's also mandatory for you to have a passport or full birth certificate, and a bank account in your name (or a joint account). We cannot accept your application if these items are not provided.
