We currently seeking for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing Bury St Edmunds depo on permanent and full time position.
What We Can Offer You:
£12.59 per hour (£10.71 + £1.88 GEO) with an overtime rate of £16.07 once contractual hours have been completed.
We are team players and always ready to help. As part of the team, you will be required to scan and sort the parcels into cages, load and unload the vehicles, helping the team to finish the daily duties.
We will provide training to use our hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You'll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.
Full-time contracts are 40hrs per week, either working exclusively days/nights or twilight, including some weekend shifts. Rota given in advance, 5 days out of 7 required to work on full time contract. Some weekends are required as well, so if you are not afraid to spend some weekend time with your work “family”, come and join us.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Eager to learn and develop new skills
- Able to work as an individual or in a team if needed
- Ensure scanning compliance
- Minimum computers skills as you will be required to work with the scanners
