- Project Planning and Management – guide and coordinate projects with assistance, including confirming requirements, resource, schedule, hardware, and performance as well as working with internal/external developers to ensure the successful delivery of the bespoke software to each country
- Technical Guidance & Support – be capable of understanding the basic elements of hardware and software applicable for note handling. Capable of analysing some errors and logs to identify root cause of issues
- High level of communication skills – be able to adapt technical information for the relevant audience. Being the principle cornerstone at centre of all communications between all relevant teams, with guidance for more complex situations
- Project co-ordination - Managing multiple projects of varying complexity and stage of investigation at any given time with the principle focus on meeting customer requirements, though with assistance for the more complex projects
- Working in an environment may require weekend and/or extended hours, as needed, to accommodate customer needs
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to others where English is not their first language
- Ability to review & understand technical data, such as log analysis and perform technical testing as required
- Willingness to travel on occasion if required, when permitted
- Patient and calming manner when dealing with others during urgent incidents
- Self-starting
- Show capability of working in teams and independently
- Able to work to tight deadlines with guidance
- Ability to manage multiple incidents/requests at the same time with guidance
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to write and speak an additional language
- Knowledgeable across related NCR deposit and recycler hardware and software products
- Degree in a discipline related to the product technology or project management
- High school education
- Minimum of 2 years related job experience (technical support / development / technical project management)
- Liaise with the Local Template Managers, PS and Sales in each country to ensure that template requirements are clear
- Work with NCR QA, or vendor as appropriate, to confirm when test templates will be ready
- For vendor-created templates, work with NCR engineering to ensure that templates from the vendor are packaged correctly
- Send test templates to the Local Template Manager once ready
- Work with the Local Template Manager to obtain the schedule for test template running tests, as well as chase to ensure completion with correct logs & data provided
- Work with the NCR template developers, or vendor as appropriate, to ensure clear communication about any issues and timescales
- Provide data collection and running test data to the template developers
- Provide regular status updates to template developers and the Local Template Manager
- Provide final template to the Local Template Manager
- Keep the template incident tracking system up to date
- Identify and resolve process deficiencies to permit more efficient template development
- Identify opportunities for toolset and infrastructure improvements to permit more efficient template development.
