Job description
Monkhouse prides itself on getting children back to school in uniform which gives them the confidence to start their academic new year and you will play a pivotal role in making this happen by supporting us through our busiest period of the year.
What’s the job?
Simply put, we get stock, we process it and we ship it out. Practically this means there will be some stock picking, relocating of stock, barcoding, and processing the dispatching of web orders for our customers in a timely manner.
At Monkhouse working as a team is critical to getting the job. So, we are all in it together and from time to time we support our colleagues in their task wherever needed.
What are my hours?
This is a short-term contract starting NOW and finishing end of September. We work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm.
When can I start?
Immediately!
What’s our location?
Location: Orchard Industrial Estate, Toddington, GL54 5EB (between Cheltenham, Tewkesbury & Evesham).
You will need personal transportation to get to the Distribution Centre as there is no practical public transport available.
There is plenty of free parking!

We already employ 20+ permanent staff so our team is strong, experienced and friendly and this is whom you will be joining. They are keen to welcome you to the team.
About our pay
Our hourly rate will depend on your age.
16-17 years old – rate is £5.28
18-20 years old – rate is £7.49
21-22 years old – rate id £10.18
23 years old & over – rate is £10.42.
