Job description

CVP are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative - Goods-IN to work in our busy and expanding operation. You’ll be an integral part of our team and key to making sure that we get things right from the very start. If you can work quickly and accurately when under pressure and can multi-task, then this could be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking delivery of goods and supplies
  • Potentially including new goods, returns, evaluations and engineering
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Matching delivered goods against POs, Delivery notes, returns authorisations and service job details
  • Entering delivery details into CVP’s warehouse management systems (both handheld scanners and manual entries)
  • Allocating goods to orders where appropriate
  • Storing (putting away) goods in warehouse spaceMatching items to correct locations across; returns, engineering, evaluations and new stock areas
  • Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck

You may also get involved in:

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Loading goods for dispatch
  • Keeping records of stock
  • Keeping paperwork up to date
  • Cleaning work areas.
