Warehouse Operatives required for Burton-on-Trent - FREE TRAVEL FROM DERBY

Full time and part time available.
Monday - Friday OR Saturday and Sunday
AM Shift - 06:00-14:00
PM Shift - 14:00-22:00
Night Shift - 22:00-06:00

Pay Rate
Days rate - £9.00 p/h
Afternoonrate - £9.45 p/h
Nights rate - £10.30 p/h
Higher rates for FLT Drivers

- Overtime available - 1.5x on Saturday/Double time on Sunday
Warehouse Operatives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Picking - Efficiently assemble loads without error using the pick lists/equipment provided.
  • Accept and achieve regularly revised and high pick rates.
  • Loading - Ensure that all loads agree with transport paperwork and are loaded to time, stacked in the correct sequence and are configured and restrained correctly.
  • Use of hand-held scanners
  • Stock control/ warehouse operative
  • Ensure that all site-specific rules and operating practice are adhered to at all times.
Warehouse Operatives GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Adhere to all aspects of the Company Health & Safety regulations currently in force.
  • Report anything which could be a hazard and report all accidents to your line manager.
PERSONAL CONDUCT:
  • Maintain good time keeping.
  • Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
  • Accept the occasional irregularity of hours to achieve completion of important tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and co-operation in covering duties of a related nature not specifically referred to in the description that may enhance the service provided to the customer.
