Job description
We’re looking for permanent staff to join our Dearne Valley Boxed warehouse!
(Dearne Valley Boxed, Unit 2, Brookfields Drive, Manvers Way, Rotherham S63 5DL)
Hourly Rate:
£10.80 per hours ( Plus performance bonus*)
Shift Patterns Available:
- Sun - Thurs 06: 00 - 14: 30
- Sun - Thurs 14:30 - 23:00
- Tues - Sat 13:30 -22:00
- Tues - Sat 14:30 - 23:00
- Fri - Mon 13:30 - 22:00
Requirements:
No experience required - full training provided.
This role does involve aspects of lifting, reaching and manoeuvring (you could walk up to 5 miles a day!) so you must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks.
Some roles do also involve use of machinery and working at height.
About the Role
Our DVB warehouse is where our mens, womens and childrens clothing is stored.
You could be picking and packing customer orders, feeding boxes onto a conveyor belt or cleaning and preparing tubs for induct on to conveyor belts.
Everything in this warehouse is stored in boxes - you will be constantly pushing and pulling large tote boxes on conveyor belts and will be working on your feet - constantly walking up and down the belts.
