This is a fixed term post of 15 months.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00 with 45 mins unpaid meal break.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Biomedical Scientists or current students who are expecting to Graduate in 2023 to join the Laboratory Medicine Department within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
Our laboratories will shortly be embarking on an exciting project which will see the majority of the equipment being refreshed across all laboratory disciplines and all acute hospital sites. The project is expected to last one year and these posts will be key to ensure its success.
The posts will be deployed within the following laboratory disciplines:
Biochemistry
Haematology & Blood Transfusion
Microbiology
Virology
Pathology
Applicants MUST possess a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, preference will be given to candidates who have completed the integrated degree programme and be in possession of an I.B.M.S. Certificate of Competence or who already have registration as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health Care Professions Council.
