Job description
We are a warehouse facility based in Halesowen distributing goods across the UK. In this role, you will assist the Warehouse Management Team with goods in and goods out, together with all other supporting duties associated with working in a warehouse.
The Role
Goods in – container emptying, stock control, shrink wrapping & palletising, movement of stock around the warehouse, accurate stock location & labelling, inspection & reporting of any defects
Goods out - picking goods, quality check, accurate pick & labelling, assignment to the correct courier
Completion of appropriate updates – manual & electronic, ie. despatches, pallets out / in, stock counts / audits
Performing daily checks on all equipment making sure they are safe to use & are of a good quality
Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times & work spaces are clean & tidy
Work to Company deadlines & targets
Support all team colleagues
Skills / experience Required
Similar experience gained within a warehouse environment
Able to take on a wide range of tasks
Good attention to quality
Able to follow instructions & operating procedures accurately
Good communication skills
Speed & accuracy is key for this role
Flexible in terms of start & finish times during busy periods
Current counterbalance or flexi license would be an advantage
