The job opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team at our recently-opened branch in Chatham, Kent.
About the role
The role is to assist with all aspects of warehouse work from goods in to loading lorries for outgoing deliveries, taking in deliveries from suppliers and trade counter work.
It provides an opportunity to progress within the country’s leading Independent Flooring Distributor; we encourage our employees to grow and develop and promote from within.
This role would be ideal for somebody who is keen to progress and seeks opportunities to forge a career within the branch and company.
Essential requirements
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Happy to work in a warehouse environment
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service
Desirable requirements
- Current, valid forklift, counterbalance or reach truck licence
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre.
- Committed to learn and progress within the branch

Working pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours a week
- 09:00 - 17:30 (with a 30-minute unpaid break every day)
