Safran Helicopter Engines are the world's leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines and the only one dedicated exclusively to this market. Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

What will I be doing?

Your primary responsibility will be to support the flow of spares, components and engines to both the maintenance centre and manufacturing work centres.

The day to day role will involve:
  • Unloading daily deliveries
  • Processing goods receipted in line with the goods receipt procedure
  • Storage of parts in designated locations using lifting equipment as applicable
  • Processing movements of goods using SAP
  • Cutting of raw material bars into smaller bars and billets
  • Kitting and issuing of raw material to machine shop, in accordance with procedure
  • Putting away and issuing of parts - maintaining correct stock levels in the correct locations
  • Continuous Improvement & 5S
