Job description
We are looking to recruit a number of Warehouse Operatives to join our ever expanding team at Raman Pharma Ltd.
The ideal candidate will show excellent attention to detail and a level of discipline and concentration ensuring all aspects of the role are carried out accurately and efficiently.
Experience within a pharmaceutical operation would be advantageous, although full training will be given to the successful candidates. A desire to learn and go above and beyond to best serve our customers on a daily basis.
Job Description – WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
OVERALL
- Work with other warehouse operatives under the direction of management team.
- Assist in the running of the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, completing all daily tasks in a timely manner.
- Work in a manner that adheres to regulatory guidelines and Company Procedures.
- Liaising with senior management daily to ensure they are up to date with any matters.
- Help maintain necessary logs up to date and ensuring all queried stock is dealt with urgency.
- Adhere to all warehouse processes.
- Maintaining daily / weekly / monthly management reports and KPI’s.
- Report to operational management any matters adversely affecting the protection of deliveries and customer base.
GOODS IN
- Responsible for the accurate receipt of all incoming goods.
- Notify operations team of receipt of goods.
- Ensuring Falsified Checks are completed on each incoming delivery.
- Ensuring all Supplier claims made are done so within the specified time restraints imposed by suppliers.
- Ensure all customer returns are received, quarantined, and communicated to customer services in a timely manner.
GOODS STORAGE AND ROTATION
- Conducting Stock Take as required by management and regulatory guidelines.
- Replenishing stock daily.
- Managing and maintaining FEFO. Ensuring all stock is rotated with a first expiry, first out order.
GOODS OUT
- Ensure picking and packing with accuracy, where consignments to be dispatched are ready for daily collection.
- Liaise with other departments and managers in relation to delivery issues etc, to ensure efficient service is always provided.
- Completing all validation checks are made prior to being given to courier.
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Ensuring Temperature Checks completed twice daily.
- Ensuring the warehouse is always clean and tidy.
- Short date checks to be completed on the last working day of the month.
- Update Operations Team with consumables required in a timely manner.
- Responsible for raising any faulty equipment to management completing weekly safety checks on equipment.
- Ad Hoc tasks as requested by management.
SECURITY
- Ensure security and safety of warehouse, goods, and equipment. Ensuring no unauthorised people enter Storage Areas.
HEALTH & SAFETY
- Communicate issues affecting the performance of the department to the Operations Manager.
- Always ensure Health & Safety compliance, including wearing of any PPE supplied.
- Be aware of relevant Risk Assessments and Fire Assessments.
