Warehouse Person - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out your warehouse duties in accordance with the agreed operational procedures and in line with any training given.
- Assist with ensuring that all loads are accurately and securely placed on the vehicle.
- Ensure that all stock is stored in accordance with Company and statutory policies and best practice.
- Work closely and proactively with other key stakeholders, including but not limited to operation, logistics and administration staff, to ensure the warehouse and delivery requirements are met for all customers.
- Support the Logistics Manager with fleet maintenance and records
- Be competent with IT systems, follow the correct process and procedures
- Assist with managing local inbound product deliveries and product returns.
- Assist with monthly stock takes, and report variances and differences with commentary as needed.
- Actively support a safety-first culture and ensure all health and safety polices and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain all necessary records and standards to ensure the warehouse operates to agreed BASIS and safety standards. [yellow code]
- Any other duties as defined by your Manager including customer deliveries if needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£13.81 per hour
