WAREHOUSE & PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse operative to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and good communication skills to flourish in our fast-paced working environment. This is a physically active role — you will be on your feet for most of the day, as well as lifting, picking, and packing products for deliveries.
Please note this role is a mix of general warehouse/forklift duties, it may also require work within the production hall.
AVAILABILITY
Start date- ASAP
The role is full-time Monday to Friday on site — may include weekend & shift work in the future
Applicants must be over 18 years old
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse Operative will support the team in the following tasks:
· Accurately picking orders using a handheld terminal to ensure our customers receive the correct items
· Packing orders efficiently and carefully — it’s part of your responsibility to ensure that customers receive their items in an excellent condition
· Arranging orders for shipment and collection
· Receiving and packing away deliveries
· Operating the forklift to manage incoming and outgoing goods
· General housekeeping and stock counting
· Includes production line work
ABOUT YOU
· Extremely organised and takes pride in maintaining processes with accuracy
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with all team members and management
·Experience of working in a production line environment
· Adaptable nature and thrives well under pressure
· An eye for detail and accuracy is essential
· Qualified FLT Counterbalance License
· Computer skills are desirable for using the computerised warehouse system
