Warehouse Operative – Olmec Advanced Materials
Olmec are looking for a warehouse operative to join the team at our machining facility in Garstang, Lancashire. Applicants should be team players, with a strong idea of what is needed to maintain efficiency in a warehouse environment.
Olmec Advanced Materials are a UK based carbon and graphite supplier with head offices in Sheffield and a machining workshop in Garstang, Lancashire. Graphite and carbon require unique treatment and skill from a machining perspective, wherein cleanliness and health and safety measures are paramount.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack orders for delivery or pickup according to the work schedule.
- FLT (Fork Lift Truck) – experience & license is preferred but training can be provided.
- Receive and process stock products for the warehouse.
- Operating band-saws (training provided).
- Keep the working environment safe and clean.
- Assisting machinists and admin staff with keeping to deadlines for customers.
- Storing materials, checking for damage and ensuring there are no missing items.
- Manage time effectively.
Required Skills/ Experience:
- Min. 1 year experience in a similar role – please provide a CV with relevant experience.
- Able to work under their own initiative, needing minimum supervision.
- Forward thinking and proactive.
- Strong communication with the team.
- FLT License (training could be provided to the right candidate).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£10.50 per hour
