Warehouse/Distribution Depot Operative

Days - 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00

£10.50 per hour

Overtime available

We are recruiting at our Manchester Depot for Distribution Operatives Days

The purpose of the role is to manually pack milk into trolleys, move trolley and empty trolleys across the chill, packing milk cartons into cardboard boxes, loading and unloading inbound and outbound deliveries, working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining knowledge of products and processes involved in the day to day delivery of goods.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Order picking using voice technology
• Operating chill trolley packers and chill shrink wrappers
• Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound vehicles
• Stock rotation
• Date code checking

Key skills and experience:

• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
• A good standard of numeracy and literacy skills
• A positive thinking and self-motivated individual
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
