Full time, warehouse based: 35 hours per week.
Monday – Friday (some evenings and weekends required)
£10.00 per hour – over time available

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time warehouse operative to join our small, friendly team in Birmingham. We are a growing business within the events industry and are now looking for a warehouse operative to work in our Birmingham warehouse, prepping and maintaining lighting and other equipment. This is a full time position with potential growth and progression as the role and business develops.
You will need to be proactive, self-driven, confident and have a keen interest in the events industry with previous warehouse experience.
Job Description
- Prepping equipment ready for hire
- Checking equipment back in after hire
- Testing and maintenance of equipment
- Completing paperwork
- Loading/unloading vehicles
- Upkeep of warehouse space
- Operating fork lift truck
- Liaising with project managers
- Working on site, when required
Requirements
- Enthusiastic and keen interest in the events industry
- Previous experience in events industry would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Technically minded with good practical skills
- Knowledge of lighting equipment advantageous – training will be given
- Fork lift license required – IPAF license advantageous
- Full UK driving licence required
