Linton Tweeds is a family run business established in 1912. We pride ourselves on manufacturing a high quality product used within the fashion industry around the world.
Role:
We are looking for a warehouse operator to work in our yarnstore.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Receive deliveries of yarn from outside suppliers: check delivered yarns, accurately record and pass yarn to shade/grist standard, store yarn in correct area.
· Prepare yarns for dyehouse, sample Looms, warp Mills and for outside commission work accurately.
· Record and store return yarns from other departments in correct area.
· Somebody too work in a fast paced environment who can work efficiently as part of a team enabling continuous uninterrupted yarn supply.
· Yarn quality checks
· Safe Working
Knowledge and Skills
· Be comfortable to work on their own.
· Have a good eye for detail
· Machine and Manufacturing Experience (Not Essential)
· Full Clean Driving License.
Full training will be given
Applicants must be available for immediate start
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 4.30 Fri 7.30 - 12.30
Permanent Position ( 3 Month Trial Period)
