Creative Media Coordinator

Would you like to make a difference to students lives during their time at university? Are you interested in joining a collaborative, fast-paced team that prides itself on going the extra mile, delivering excellence, and supporting our students to make the most of their university experience?

We are looking for an energetic and creative individual to produce and coordinate the visual media output of Worcester Students’ Union (WSU). You will work closely with the elected Full-Time Officers and core staff team to increase understanding and engagement amongst our members of the range of services and activities we provide for our diverse student body.

You will be responsible for producing WSU’s video and photo content, showcasing what we do and the positive contribution we make to the student experience. You will also oversee the design process and creation of our printed and digital promotional materials.

We are looking for someone who has experience working within marketing and communications, who is adept at using video editing software to produce compelling and effective promotional videos. Strong attention to detail will be key, as well as a desire to deliver communications and media that appeal to our diverse student body.

You will:

• Produce engaging and student-focused video content to showcase WSU services, events, and campaigns.
• Generate enthusiasm and engagement of student-led activities through creative content.
• Supervise student staff in the creation of WSU’s promotional materials.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and abilities within a unique and dynamic environment, getting involved in a whole range of events and activities, whilst making a genuine difference to students at a formative time in their lives.
