Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Lineage Logistics are the world's largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

We are currently recruiting a General Warehouse Operative to support our customer demand.

Available shift:

• Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

The role

In this role you will:

• Get a lot of exercise being on your feet all day and walking around our warehouse; the job is quite physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food and bottles of drinks
• You will do this in either a cold environment - the cold storage is approximately minus 20 Celsius - just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats, hats, and boots
• Use pallet truck equipment to move the pallet to the correct door
• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away
• Find products requested in work orders
• Change over pallets, visually review items for damages or flaws, document, and report damages to a supervisor
• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

Who we're looking for:

• An external Counterbalance certificate would be an advantage
• Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time
• Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to 18kg (that's about 10 bags of sugar)
• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
• Due to cold storage conditions, you must be aged 18 or over
