Warehouse Operative / Order Picker
Langage Farm are looking to employ a warehouse operative/order picker to join our family-run and operated creamery near Plymouth. This role involved working within a growing team of warehouse operatives on varied tasks throughout the working week.
Reporting to the warehouse supervisor your primary task is to ensure customer demand is met and dispatched to the required timescale in a hygienic and safe environment.
standard shift starts at either 7am or 9am and goes until 3.30pm or 5.30pm however, additional hours are readily available taking into account seasonal variations. Some weekend hours may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately Pick products to order from Picking Lists and preparing goods for delivery
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Count inventory with excellent accuracy
- Maintain H&S standards
- Build pallets with an eye for detail and quality
- Maintain food hygiene standards within the work area.
- Store finished products neatly and ensure stock is rotated.
- Receive deliveries of goods required for production.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Physically fit.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Food hygiene level 2 preferable but training can be given on-site

Starting wage £10.80 per hour with relevant experience or £10.50 per hour if you have no experience of a warehouse setting, rising to £10.80 on successful completion of probation.
