We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Mobile Plant Operative to join our busy warehouse operation within our Sittingbourne Manufacturing Plant, following our warehouse shift pattern (which will include shifts across Monday to Friday, including nights).
Job Purpose
To operate in the warehouse, correctly and efficiently. Continuously quality check and monitor. Maintain Forklift truck in good condition. To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that the correct goods are loaded onto vehicles and dispatched on time.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Picks orders and loads trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate any problems promptly and accurately to the correct people so that any issues can be rectified quickly. Ensure good shift hand-overs to shift equivalent in order that loading continues seamlessly.
- Ensures good quality product reaches our customers.
- Maintains stock accuracy.
- Comply with all quality systems to ensure quality products.
- Follow operating procedures.
- Keeps details records and report any issues concisely and correctly.
- Resort defective product to ensure that all damaged boards are removed, and new pallets made up.
- To take an active part in the development of the site’s systems. To adhere to the safety systems on site.
- Anything commensurate to complete your role.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and analyse a dispatch note.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehousing processes.
- Knowledge of working within quality systems.
- Level headed under pressure.
- Working knowledge of working within health and safety regulations
- Current Forklift Truck licence - essential
- Basic computer skills.
