Job description
We are recruiting for enthusiastic and hard working operatives to work on an exciting project across Night shift and/or Day Shift for a major retailer in Bradford on Avon.
This is will be for an extended weekend shift initially in September, and then regular work in October and November. Weekend availability is essential.
Candidates must come with an enthusiastic attitude and a desire to get involved with store, warehouse and superstore refits. Knowledge of retail, product merchandising, warehouse operations and/or customer service skills would be great to have, but your ability to work hard and with focus throughout the night is essential.
Typical duties will include:
Replenishing stock in store using planograms to timescales.
Fitting shelving, installing equipment and implementing displays to a high standard across the store.
Lifting and handling up to 25kg kilos will be required at times.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and general housekeeping will be an ongoing requirement.
You must be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required as not only do you need to have relationships with your team, but there may be some customer interaction involved.
In return you will be paid £12.00 Nights, £11.00 per hour Days on an 10 hour shift working Nights 20.00pm to 07.00am, or Days Sunday to Friday 08.00am to 19.00pm. You will be working with experienced Merchandisers who will help develop your skills, and future projects will also be made available to you.
