Job Purpose
The purpose of the Warehouse Operative is to assist with all aspects of warehouse operations managing and arranging movement and receipt of company assets to support the operation of our centres.
The key objective of the position is to safely receive, store and then redistribute assets to support the operations of the business centres.
Key Responsibilities
Stock management
- To ensure the safe storage of stock in designated areas of the warehouse
- To observe Health and Safety guidelines at all time within the warehouse
- To assist with stock control measures such as periodic stock checks to ensure safe storage of all warehouse assets.
Receiving stock
- To safety and responsibly receive deliveries from suppliers and store in correct asset location in warehouse
- To dispose of excess deliver packaging into designated disposal bins
- To ensure assets delivered are in good condition and of correct quantities
- To record deliveries using internal paperwork process
Distributing stock
- To prepare deliveries for collection by distribution agents or to load onto IWG delivery vans
- To ensure stock control measures observed to ensure correct stocks made available for delivery

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Maths and English qualifications to GSCE pass level or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in local languages and English (written and spoken).
- Basic skills working with Excel, proficient with other MS office products including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain a good level of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a high productivity/activity level.
- Ability to work autonomously.
Desirable
- Experience working in warehouse / distribution environment
- Has successfully worked in team environment
