House of Isabella is a fast-growing international online retailer of interior furniture and homewares, with operations across the UK and Australia. We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated part-time Warehouse Operative to help with inventory and inbound/outbound goods.
The perfect candidate will be a team player who is committed to excellence in their specific tasks, but also willing to jump in and assist the customer service team where needed, with a positive, can-do attitude.
About the Job
- Permanent part-time
- Based in our Durham office/warehouse
- 8:30am-2.00pm, Monday to Friday (hours can be discussed)
Duties include:
- Processing all pallet deliveries, allocating orders and arranging efficient dispatch
- Booking all outlet stock orders for delivery from Durham
- Coordinating deliveries from external supplier warehouses direct to customers
- Liaising with our third-party warehouses over the phone and on-site and booking dispatch as required
- Checking and processing returns and ensuring ongoing accurate stock control and recording of outlet items
- Taking photographs/videos of damage/faults of goods to list online/provide to customers
- Courier insurance claims
- Assisting the customer service team, providing email and live chat support as required
- Other general warehouse duties
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Manual handling capabilities - please note this role does involve heavy lifting at times
- Strong computer skills
- UK manual driving licence
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Superior attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Driven, organised and logical
- A team player attitude
