About the Role & the Team
Are you a reliable and committed Distribution Operative with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment? If so, we would love to receive your application to join the Heras family.
This role will provide an opportunity receive, move and check goods into and out of the warehouse and check for damaged or missing items. The role includes moving stock and picking and packing orders whilst ensuring required paperwork is kept up to date.
This role is based within a warehouse environment in Middleton Manchester.
Role Overview
- Accurately pick and pack goods within required timescales and quality standards
- Assist in receiving deliveries and unloading stock
- Transacting good received/deliveries on the MRP system
- Coordinating transport with hauliers
- Stock checks in line with cycle count schedule
- Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
- General labouring duties and manual handling
- Repacking and relabelling items
- Arranging dispatches through couriers
- Preparing orders ready for dispatch
- Loading all goods ready for despatch onto the correct transport
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out
