Here at GXO, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting our JD Go Outdoors contract at Grand Central in Manchester. You’ll be working on '4 on 4 off' shift pattern on days 06:00 - 18:00 or nights 18:00 - 06:00.

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll receive:
- An hourly rate of £11.03 for days, and £12.68 for nights
- An additional £1 per hour if you hold an in-date Reach Truck licence

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support in the picking and packing of goods to be sent to both retail stores and eCommerce customers
- Operate manual handling equipment in line with operational training (Reach Truck)
- Support with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensure that all health and safety processes are followed in line with company policy
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ideally, you’ll have an in-date reach truck licence, but this isn’t essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An understanding of health and safety procedures
