The position of involves:
- Working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Individuals will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer bread delivery orders by hand to ensure they are complete and available for onward delivery within specified delivery time frames.
- Warehousing duties include the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Use of Counterbalance Forklift truck to unload inbound bread products from the customer.
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area.
Essential skills required:
- Self-motivated individuals who can work on their own and as a part of a team in an
- efficient, accurate and a safe manner taking into account their surroundings.
- An adaptable team player with a flexible work ethic able to work to deadlines.
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ideal candidates will have warehousing experience.
- Holder of a valid Counterbalance licence is desirable but not necessary as FLT training can be provided.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible and hardworking.

- Basic salary for Warehouse Operative is £26,959pa increasing to £28,593pa with valid MHE certificates*.
- Based on 42.75 hours per week, working 5 shifts in 7, including weekends.
- 2 early shifts and 6 lates, on an 8-week rolling rota basis.
- Shift start times are earlies: 08:00hrs – 18:00hrs and lates: 15:30hrs – 01:30hrs.
