Global Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for warehouse operators, preferably with PPT experience, counter balance forklift and even a reach truck licence on an ongoing basis based in Aberdeen.
Our client is a world leader in logistics & Distribution and due to continued growth & demand; we are seeking 2 staff on an ongoing basis.
Health and safety is paramount within the warehouse and these procedures must be adhere to at all times.
Duties:
- Goods in, dispatch and cross docking.
- Driving High Reach Trucks within the warehouse/distribution centre.
- Manoeuvring pallets throughout warehouse.
- Ability to work at pace whilst achieving targets.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Taking responsibility for each task delivered.
- Enjoys working as part of team, who together, ensure delivery of their role in a safe and efficient manner.
- General warehouse duties as required.
- Order/Case picking for dispatch.
What we require from you:
- Demonstrated warehouse experience.
- Certified Reach Truck Certificate would be advantageous.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to shifts determined by the business needs.
- Hardworking, low level absenteeism, reliable, and a positive approach to work.
Rates of pay £9.75 with overtime after 40 hours
Shifts are Monday to Friday 0700-1600 and Saturday mornings
Shift pattern is Monday to Friday and involves weekend work so you must be able to commit to work also Saturdays
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
