The Debt & Capital Advisory team is an integral part of Deloitte's Financial Advisory practice, providing independent advice and world class execution across the full spectrum of debt markets through the Firm's global network.
Deloitte Debt & Capital Advisory is a team of 200 debt professionals globally, with ~100 within the UK, making them one of the largest teams operating in the UK and almost certainly the largest globally.
In any given year, in the UK Deloitte Debt & Capital Advisory close circa. 100 transactions, across privately held corporates, private equity backed corporates and PLCs. The deal flows the team are exposed to give them a good read on what is available within the debt markets and where best to source capital. The business has grown at roughly 20% per year every year since inception twelve years ago and has maintained the original ‘start-up' mentality throughout that period.

Your role within this exciting team will be to assist clients achieve their structured funding objectives which will incorporate a wide range of debt engagements including the issuance of new transactions, advice on optimal capital structures, refinancing, and restructuring existing debt facilities.
We operate across all sectors and we are currently looking for a Manager. As an Assistant Manager in the Debt & Capital Advisory team you will be:
- Working on a range of structured finance and asset backed lending projects incorporating regular interaction with clients, investors, advisors and other service lines
- Assisting clients with a wide range of transaction related services, including the preparation of information packs, management presentations, data analysis and client communications
- Supporting clients with understanding various aspects of the securitisation and asset backed lending sector, including regulatory requirements, market trends and providing guidance on interactions with key stakeholders such as investors, rating agencies and transaction service providers
- Performing data analysis and financial modelling, assessing loan portfolio information and historical performance data and performing bespoke analysis in support of transactions
- Collaborating with team members to deliver high quality professional services

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant debt capital markets experience, preferably in structured finance and/or asset backed lending
- A commitment to delivering an exceptional service to clients, with an ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
- Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and an ability to absorb and analyse data and information quickly
- Perfect fluency in oral and written English
- A sound commercial acumen
- A good understanding of UK financial markets and debt-related products
- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- The ability to work as a team, undertaking a range of tasks while managing stakeholders and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
