Job description
Franklin Steel Ltd Dumfries are a leading distributor of of Steel, Industrial supplies and Industrial gases throughout South West Scotland and the Borders region.
We are looking to recruit a hard working, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our warehouse team.
Duties to include, loading and offloading vehicles, picking orders, using large capacity band saws, operating overhead cranes, driving a counterbalance forklift truck and occasional deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a busy distribution or production warehouse with the confidence and ability to use large capacity band saws, overhead cranes and forklift trucks.
A HGV driving licence and forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential.
Heavy lifting is required so please keep this in mind when applying.
Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Overtime may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
