We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to work as an integral part of the warehouse team processing shipments. This is a great opportunity to join a highly experienced team and develop your skills in a secure and regulated environment.
Location: Heston
Shifts 07:00am - 19:00pm 4 On - 4 Off
What you will be doing:
The purpose of the role is to work as part of Warehouse team
- Receiving of outbound & inbound export and import freight, booking in of freight (using GXD system),
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift truck.
- Use handheld scanners as part of the warehouse management system.
- Frequently complete manual handling tasks, use all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained.
- Previous experience of working in an airfreight warehouse environment
- Good understanding of written and spoken English Basic mathematical skills
- Basic geographical knowledge
- Minimum Cargo Operative Screener AVSEC training (Can complete in house),
- Counterbalance forklift (Essential)
- Reach forklift (Desirable)
- 5 year checkable history.
