gap personnel Cardiff are currently recruiting for Twilight or Night Shift Parcel Sorters for temporary ongoing assignments based in Bridgend, CF31
Working as a Twilight or Night Shift Parcel Sorter is a varied role, and you will be joining a large team looking to process customers’ orders ready for next day despatch. You will be joining the UK’s largest parcel company who pride themselves on team engagement and providing their customers with an exemplary service
Please be aware that this is a fast-paced working environment with a high proportion of the role involving manual handling.
As a Twilight/Night Shift Parcel Sorter you will be responsible for:
- Unloading and loading of vehicles ready for distribution
- Ensuring items are handled with care and identify any damaged products
- Handballing
- Placing postal goods into relevant postal codes
What we are looking for:
- You will have a can-do attitude and be a really strong team player
- Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable
- You will have a strong work ethic,
- Be comfortable working on a busy production line, where you are on your feet for the majority of the workday.
- You will be able to follow precise instructions
We have the following shift pattern available:
- Twilight: Sunday - Friday , 1pm-10pm (approx.)
- Night shift: Sunday to Friday, 11pm-7am (approx.)
- This role can be part time or full time
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Temporary contract
Salary: £10.31-£11.29 per hour
