Warehouse Operative
C&P Medical are a wholesaler who sell medical products to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, vets and podiatrists. We are based at Bowerhill in Melksham. A small, friendly team of 50 people. The warehouses are a busy place and we all work hard to get the goods out the door on time.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for another Warehouse Operative
Your role as a Warehouse Operative
As a Warehouse Operative , you will be expected to provide an excellent delivery experience for all customers by receiving & despatching Parcels and Pallets
You will have experience in Goods in & Goods out . Unloading & loading all vehicles in a timely manner..
You will have attention to detail to comprehend all receipted paperwork . You will work in multiple areas within the warehouse and be skilled in all tasks . You will have great communication skills
Ensuring accuracy, you will also work in a fast-paced environment
The role includes:
- Ensuring all goods are picked & dispatched according to the picking procedure
- Ensure correct labelling of all orders for despatch
- Work in all departments within the warehouse
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly and on time
- Using a Counterbalance / Reach Truck to pick & locate goods
- Using a handheld scanner to pick & locate orders
- Adhere to our H&S guidelines
- Ensuring all goods are receipted in the correct manner
- To replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
- Locate products and rotate stock effectively
- Locate and barcode all deliveries into the business
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.42-£10.50 per hour
