Job description
Barkers of Harrogate are currently looking to employ a full time, permanent warehouse operative for our wholesale business.
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to pick, pack and distribute orders. You will undertake a wide range of duties including:
- Ensuring that the warehouse is kept neat, clean and tidy
- Ensuring that stock is stored appropriately in the correct locations
- Checking orders and loading vehicles for despatch
- Scanning deliveries in & orders out
- Receiving new supplies, unloading, checking products and storage
- Accurately picking and packing orders
- Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained in all areas

We are looking for staff who are keen and willing to learn about our business, who can work as part of a team and unsupervised. Who are reliable, hard working and detail conscious.
You will be able to demonstrate good standards of housekeeping, time keeping and attendance, willing to learn new things and a keen eye for detail.
Working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minute lunch break.
Full training will be given.
