WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER TO JOIN THE CREATIVE LAB DEPARTMENT AT GANNI.
YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
Creative Lab is a new team overseeing the holistic creative strategy at GANNI across content, graphics, community, special projects and collaborations. The Social Media Manager will have ownership of the day-to-day content calendar for all social media channels and will, amongst other things, work closely with the key brand stakeholders on the development of GANNI's social strategy while growing our global brand presence.
- Manage all GANNI social media channels executing daily posting, DM/comment management and regular reporting across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube
- Develop and execute day-to-day content calendar, incl. Copywriting, scheduling and publishing
- Own social copywriting, working closely with Editorial Brand Manager to safeguard social-first + brand-relevant TOV and messaging.
- Plan and coordinate new initiatives to grow the GANNI community across priority channels with a focus on acquisition, connection and retention of Gen Z
- Report and analyse GANNI-own and direct competitor platform performance across key metrics providing business insights, trend analysis and recommendations.
- Use performance data and market research reports informing social strategy, communicating key learnings to GANNI stakeholders.
- Build + maintain industry relationships across key platforms, planning tools and analytical platform to ensure GANNI maintain premiere positioning, best-in-class content and competitive advantage.
- Manage platform test accounts and planning tools to schedule / plan / strategise upcoming campaign launches and social communications plans.
- Work with Head of Creative Lab and Social Media Assistant to curate creative content, create social grid, outline content guidelines and plan to ensure feeds and platforms remain “on-brand.”
- Align with E-commerce & Retail team to review commercial priorities and ensure they are reflected in the social strategy/plan.
- Work collaboratively with CHINA local teams to align global content plans and distribute necessary assets, strategies, copy and content for Weibo, WeChat, RED and LINE channels.
- Share and align on channel best practices with Head of Creative Lab to ensure content deliverables are platform relevant, social-first and use key strategic insights to inform creative direction
- Work closely with creative agency MOON - to align on brand guidelines.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge and interest in all social media channels, especially Instagram and TikTok
- Strong experience with social media publishing and analytics tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think proactively and prioritise multiple projects
- Able to build strong working relationships across teams and business units
- Understanding of and experience in photography, videography, and editing software
- Be informed on emerging fashion trends and developments as well as social communities
- Be informed on and able to execute best practice across all social media platforms
- Strong sense of initiative, a collaborative spirit and an ability to work independently
- Familiar with working on almost every content creation platform: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite and design templates in Canva or Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, TikTok, Instagram, FB Live, etc.
- Mastery over Microsoft Office / Google Suite
