Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Portsmouth- We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: Up to £26,999 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be working within a team of other operatives to undertake their day to day duties

• You will be answering to the Hiring Managers and a team leader and will not be interacting with key stakeholders

• You will support the warehouse management and complete the required tasks to ensure the efficient running of the store

• It will be your responsibility to ensure that business objectives are achieved and a high level of service to our customers is maintained

• You will visibly demonstrate commitment to SHE performance and improvement by actively engaging with people to raise awareness of safe behaviours and attitudes

Your skills and experiences:

• A forklift ticket or be willing to learn

• Good computer literacy and skills

• Quick learner and willing to pick up and implement new skills quickly

The Team:

The candidate will be working in a team of twelve or two, (dependent on role) with a Team Leader, and one supervisor. They will be expected to learn all aspects of the store i.e. receipts issues and stocktaking. Plus there is the opportunity to support ships projects with the storing and replenishment of ships being refurbished. All training and development needs will be met in house, with opportunities to flourish, develop and progress within BAE
