First of all:
First of all you’ll be trained on a machine that cuts metal and be taught about the different grades and sizes.
Once this is achieved the standard daily tasks will be:
Loading Wagons for daily runs
Loading external transport when jobs are outsourced
Loading customers who come throughout the day to collect
Unloading mill deliveries
Cutting metals to sizes required by clients
Keeping the warehouse clean by using the ride on sweeper
Making Pallets
You will be contracted to 4pm but will usually finish for 3.30pm. this is a Monday-Friday job with no weekends.
We offer 20 days holiday, plus all statutory bank holidays and also a further week at Christmas. We also offer 1 additional day, every 2 years each employee has completed up to a maximum of 25 days. Employees can also take a further unpaid holiday at the Warehouse Manager and Managing Directors discretion.
