We’re currently hiring for a Warehouse Operative, on Replenishment at our Birmingham depot. The role will include various jobs throughout the warehouse, focusing on the replenishment and merchandising of stock in the Fresh and frozen department. You will be working as part of a key supportive team within the depot, where you will take ownership to ensure the replenishment of the warehouse floor with good attention to detail and can work well in a busy environment.
What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?
- Merchandising
- Stock replenishment following correct procedures
- Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Supporting other departments as required
- Answering Customer Queries
What do you need to be a Warehouse Operative?
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
- Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
- Able to work quickly and to deadlines
- Confidence using handheld computerised tills and barcode scanners
- Excellent customer service skills
What’s on offer?
- Rate of pay: £7.15 to £10.42 + opportunities for overtime
- 40 hours per week on the following shift pattern;
- Sun: 08:30 - 16:30, Mon: 0800 - 18:00, Tues: 08:00 - 18:00, Wed: 11:30 - 19:30, Sat: 07:00 - 16:00
- Thursday and Friday Off
- Weekly pay
- Supportive management and ongoing development
