As one of the largest distributors and solution providers for the sports nutrition industry in the UK, Nutrivend relies on the efficiency and effectiveness of our Warehouse Operatives/ Picker Packers. We depend on the focus and strength of these professionals to meet our customers requirements. We are currently seeking Warehouse Operative/Picker Packers to join our team in Luton, where you will pack completed orders in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production. Our ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track and complete multiple facets of product packaging. By utilizing your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you'll help us prepare some of the UK's favourite sports nutrition products for shipment.
The working week is 40 hours per week working between 8am to 5:30pm, with overtime as required by the needs of the business.
Critical Success Factors
- Receiving Goods accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all picks are 100% accurate and completed on time
- Use of all company systems and delivery portals accurately
- Loading vehicles safely and accurately
- Keeping the depot clean, tidy, and safe
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Booking in supplier deliveries, checking items supplied match delivery paperwork and processing stock received in the system
- Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures
- Replenishing pick face stock, moving pallets with correct equipment provided
- Picking, packing, and wrapping orders for both third party and internal collection in a timely manner, working to targets and deadlines
- Ensure all orders are accurately picked
- Ensuring all products are free from damage, reporting any discrepancies
- Raising 3PL collections and delivery jobs in the various portals
- Process returns to the warehouse according to company procedures
- Loading vehicles safely using manual handling techniques and checking goods against customer’s delivery notes to ensure correct products are picked and loaded for delivery
- Support accurate stock counts as needed
- Reporting any health and safety or quality issues to your manager

Qualifications & experience
- GCSE in Maths and English.
- Ideally will have worked in warehouse or distribution.
- Forklift Experience (desirable)
- Good IT Skills and attention to detail for data entry and inventory
- Spatial Thinking, you will have an advantage in this work if you can visualise ways to organise for maximum efficiency.
- Being a self-starter with a high level of energy will help you excel in this job.
- Being able to tie downloads quickly and securely will be an important skill to bring to the work.
