We are recruiting for warehouse operatives to join our fast-growing Milton Keynes team on a permanent basis. Training will be provided therefore, if you are looking for a new challenge in a fast paced environment we have the job for you! This role is based at our external warehouse: 3rd Avenue, Denbigh West MK1 1DH

CONTRACT & AVAILABILITY
  • IKEA is a Living Wage Foundation Employer
£10.90ph (rising to £11.45ph from 1st May 2023)

18hrs per week - working over 3 days including weekends
Shifts will be 6hrs long and you will receive every 4th weekend off.
You could be scheduled for shifts between the hours of 10am till 10pm -Mon - Sat and 10am till 6pm on a Sunday.

Due to health and safety reasons all applicants require to be over the age of 18yrs old.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery.

This role is fast paced, manual lifting with a high volume of walking needed.

Your daily duties will be receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery.



You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times. A good level of IT skills would be required.

We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.

You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too.
